Eli's FIELD DAY - 2014

Today was such a fun day. It was Eli's 1st Field Day at school. The one last year got rained out and they never had a makeup. I was lucky enough to get the day off and got to go volunteer. I LOVE being part of these things with the boys. Eli and his class had such a great time and the PTA did a great job with all the stations.

Warning.....lots of fun pictures ahead!!
"Musical" spray bottle station
The class was in a circle and passed spray bottles of water around.
When the music stopped, whoever had the bottle got to spray everyone around them.
Eli especially loved spraying his friends!
The 2nd station included two kids getting into a super sized t-shirt and racing another team.
Zion and his mom. Love this picture.
Zion didn't like his partner so his Mom stepped in.
Eli and Alberto
Eli and Tian Tian - don't they look like they've having so much fun?!
3rd station: Big bouncy slide
They climbed up and quickly slid down....some kids bounced their way down.
Great picture!! Zion, Jaidee and Eli. These three were in Kindergarten together too. Such sweet friends!
The big bouncy slides.
This was a relay where they had to run to me and another person and do a task.
Here comes Eli....
had to do sit ups this round.
Here he comes again.....
squats this time.
He was super happy that I brought him a Gatorade. It was quite hot.
Inflatable obstacle course.
Climb up and then slide down the backside.
Tug of War. This round ended up being Eli's 1st grade class versus a Kindergarten class.
"You're going down!"
Pull.....
Uh-Oh.....PULL
Come on ELI!!
Had to get some adult help (me, just over here taking pictures!)
Then they split up the groups and did combo K/1 on each side. It was fun that Eli got to be on the same team as his friend Valentino.
Eli and Tian Tian.....the anchors.
Eli and Valentino.
Modified dunking booth - they had to knock the bucket off and get the person wet.
Jaidee got wet - I think Eli is the one that threw the ball for her turn.
Then it was Eli's turn.
SPLASH!
Such fun.
The class rooted for their teacher to take a turn.
Graham made sure she got wet too.
This was a super fun game. There were holes in the cups and they had to pass them over their heads until they got to the end of the line.

Then the last person had to run and pour whatever was left in the cup into the bucket
and run to the front of the line.
After the cup game, they just got to play in the water hose shower.

Guess Eli was thirsty!
Best "normal" picture I got of Eli's class.
And of course, we had to do the silly version. Eli has had so much fun with his friends this year.
Selfie - Me, Eli and Zion.
Me and my Eli. It was so awesome to spend the morning with him at Field Day.
