Today we went to Cranberry Farms to pick out our Christmas tree. In years past, we've had an artificial tree, have been to the Farmer's Market to pick out a tree (LOTS of vendors) and last year we went to Cranberry Farms to find a real tree. We loved our tree and the guys there are so awesome, we decided that's where we will go from now on. Eli & Cole LOVE running around the tree lot. You can try to say they're "looking" for a tree but we know they're just really chasing / hiding from each other. The guys that run the tree lot are awesome with kids and just laugh at them running around. No snobs here!
So Tim & I searched around and found a tree we agreed on, taking turns looking at trees and making sure Eli & Cole didn't escape. Tree selected, paid for, bundled up and in the truck...we were headed home. The tree fit perfect in the corner of our living room (our somewhat recently designated tree corner) and was beautiful. We decided to let it sit overnight before trying to put lights or anything on it. The boys were crazy excited and wanted to completely decorate it right then! Alas, Mommy & Daddy overruled and at the end of the day, we had a bare tree.....waiting for two little boys to decorate it. =)
