We had a fun weekend with a visit from Grandma & Grandpa N. They were supposed to come last weekend but that little thing called Hurricane Sandy adjusted their plans. The boys were very happy to see them.
Saturday morning we went to the mall to build a bear for a birthday party on Sunday and, of course, had to go into the Disney Store and the Lego Store. The boys wanted everything they saw in the Lego store! We were going to go to the library afterwards but Eli wanted to go home so Eli & Grandma went home while Cole & I went to the library. The rest of the afternoon was spent hanging around home and doing outside chores. We had a nice dinner Saturday and then Tim & I escaped. We ran to The Vitamin Shoppe and Barnes & Noble. Wild Saturday night right?! We were most excited to just get a break from the nighttime routine and putting the boys to bed. It can be exhausting!
Sunday morning, the boys & I went to church so Tim could spend some time with his parents and get a few things done. We had lunch together before Grandma & Grandpa had to head home. It was a fun visit and we always enjoy having them come see us. We managed to get naps out of both boys and then went to celebrate Little Evan's 1st birthday - that's for my next post!
Halloween surprises from Grandma & Grandpa
Building Evan's bear
Fluff & Stuff
Kissing the hearts to put inside the bear
Getting a good wash
Cole with Lily Savannah - the boys named the bear on our drive to the mall. Cole picked Lily (after his buddy Luke's little sister) and Eli picked Savannah (for a girl in his class). I thought it was super cute!
Look at that!
We love LEGOS!!
Grandma & Cole reading.......they were reading Lego instructions. Cole loves carrying them around and asking what vehicle everyone wants to drive. So cute!
Eli's artwork to wrap Evan's gift. I love it!! It says "Evan Little E too Evan Frum Eli"
A crazy face but he was so proud of it - rightfully so!!
Ready for church - carrying his Bible.
Silly faces with Grandma & Grandpa
Eli is getting so tall! Watch out Grandma, he'll be taller than you (and me!) soon.
