Cole.......the party machine

Two birthday parties in one day......Cole can handle it! This morning we celebrated Cullen's 4th birthday at a splash pool and then this afternoon we celebrated Harper's birthday at her house with a great inflatable water slide. I'm telling you, it's pathetic how social my 4 year old is compared to me!!
Running around the splash park
Cole had fun running in and out of the fountain section
And standing inside of it - his face was great here, hard to see but he was definitely happy!
Playing with Luke
More fountain action
Under the mushroom with Will
Silly
Cole had so much fun celebrating Cullen's birthday. Sorry no pictures of the birthday boy.
At Harper's party - 1st trip down the slide, he was kinda tentative about it
Slam dunk!
Water basketball - wasketball?
As he kept going down,
he got braver
and more silly - a backwards slide!
Inside.....testing out Harper's trampoline
Sweet Birthday Girl!
Love Harper's monocle in this shot - birthday girl pirate!

Continuing the birthday celebration....

This weekend Grandma & Grandpa N came to visit and continue Cole's birthday celebration (and help Daddy with some chores). They arrived Friday and Tim took the day off to put Grandpa to work. They de-screened our screen porch, cleaned, painted and re-screened. It looks SO good! Tim also power washed and stained / sealed our swing set (slightly overdue). It also looks great. Daddy and Grandpa did a lot of work and it was / is very much appreciated.

We hung out, went to the library and Cole had another birthday party to go to this afternoon - for his friend Addison. Cole had fun running around with all his buddies.

The boys had a great time exhausting Grandma & Grandpa and being their normal crazy selves! Thanks for coming to visit us!!

Happy with a birthday bag!
He had seen a truck at Target that he wanted and was so happy that he got it.
Lego Police Helicopter (put together) from Aunt Cary
Fun at Addison's party
Cole and his buddies (all the boys of course!) had a blast on this little coaster
Blue ice cone
Absolutely nothing like balloon swords
Birthday Girl Addison
Best shot I got of boys with Grandma & Grandpa N
Really love this shot of Tim with his Dad
The boys were super tired tonight.....Eli fell asleep on the ottoman
and Cole fell asleep on the couch. It was an easy bedtime!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY COLE-MAN!!!

Our little Dude is 4!! What a wonderfully fun day we've had celebrating Cole. Here's how our day went.......wake up, presents, Dunkin' Donuts, Lego Build, Monsters Inc movie, lunch, pool, pizza for dinner. Everything our little birthday boy wanted.

Cole you are such a sweet lovable boy. You have such a wonderful happy personality and the favorite part of my day is when you walk downstairs and say "Good morning Mommy"......every.single.day. We are blessed to be a family and are thankful every day for that. I couldn't ask for more!

Cole's day in pictures.....

Birthday presents waiting for Cole when he woke up
His birthday banner (that I made for his 1st birthday - so much fun using it every year!)
Last night / sleep being 3!
Cole said he knew what was in his present. He was adamant that he knew.
Apparently it was JUST the right size to be a Lego Police Station
and he was right!
Some of his other Lego Police presents
"How many pieces does it have?"
9 full bags worth!
Better outsource this to Daddy =)
I'm FOUR!!
Nothing like Birthday Donuts
Happy with his choices - iced donut and powdered sugar munchkins
Couldn't even make it home!
Meanwhile, Daddy builds on
Camelbak from Aunt Cary - woo hoo!
Finished!
Best Monster scream - Eli as Sully and I think Cole is Mike.
Pool time - I love Cole's face here.
Swim brothers - I think they had their goggles on upside down. Ha!
Break time - just chillin'
Daddy's 1st trip down the slide
Eli's 1st trip down the slide - of MANY!

4th of July Parade and Party

This afternoon was Cole's school's July 4th parade and parties. It is so much fun to watch the kids parade around the parking lot, marching to festive music, wearing or waving creations they made and having fun. It was so fitting to start celebrating our Yankee Doodle Boy!
Cole and his teacher Ms Colleen
Oh that sweet face - I was psyched that he wore his hat (that he got for his 1st birthday!)
