Saturday morning, Pre-Monster Jam fun

The boys were so excited for Monster Jam today that we had to keep them busy until time to go. Thankfully Uncle Billy and Aunt Niki were here to goof off with us.
Morning wrestling - or gang up on Uncle Billy, not sure which. Funny story about Uncle Billy's shirt. Eli is a good reader now. Which meant he could read Billy's shirt....which had a word the boys aren't supposed to say. Uncle Billy had to change his shirt. The end.
Somehow Cole kept losing his pants on the swing and exposing his undies - hilarious to a 3-1/2 year old!
Swinging.
Kicking. Cole thinks he is a soccer pro.
Eli thinks he is a basketball pro. Here he was dunking on the monkey bar.
Trying all different ways to dunk.
Hi handsome!
I have no idea what they were doing but I love how they're playing together and being creative in their games these days.

St Patty's celebration - Preschool style

Today was Cole's Green Party at school for St. Patty's Day. I really really try not to miss any of their parties so I was there, with my green on! The kids were all excited; I mean, who doesn't love an excuse to eat sugar, more sugar and then some cheese puffs!
Oh my little handsome. I love that sweet round face.
Cole's table - some of his buddies.
Little Charmer - I LOVE this shirt!

When you turn the mixer up to 10

Cole thought it would be fun to turn the mixer up to 10 tonight when I turned my back even though he wasn't supposed to....but then, he was upset that flour got everywhere (including on him). Nothing like a lesson learned on your own!

Take a seat

I am obsessed right now with finding a new bike seat - mine, well.....just not working for me any more. This is my current test seat, Adamo. Kinda cool design, took two rides on it and so far so good!

Weekend fun

Grandma C came to vist this weekend and we packed it full of fun. First up Saturday morning was another great Lowe's Build Event. This time we built Monster Mutt monster trucks and I was sure not to make the same mistake as last time (I got a little ahead of the directions last time!). Eli & Cole did so great at the build and were focused on getting their trucks built.

We also opened up the camper this weekend to air it out, check things out since we'll be headed to Florida for Spring Break soon. The boys loved re-visiting the camper and playing games with Grandma. We always love having Grandma come see us and it is play-a-poolazo all the time!
Trying to get a snuggling/tv watching shot. Have no idea what Eli is doing. =)
Grandma loves her Cole-man.
Got our trucks and getting ready to build.
Hmmm, not sure those safety glasses are much help like that.
Eli working on his truck.
Cole and Grandma - teamwork!
All done - Monster Mutt, complete with ears and tail!
Cole's favorite thing again this time....stickers!
Yay! Great job team.
They developed a game in the camper where Grandma tried to grab them as they crossed the "bridge".
Sunday morning - cuteness before church.
I have no idea what was going on but this just struck me as funny. Eli on the ground out of his swing and Cole just looking at him.

Saturday

Just a happy Saturday. Playing - inside and out, drawing, coloring, baking, playing with a friend. Life is good!
Cole has learned to "pump his legs" and can swing by himself. Yay!
It's still so new, he has to concentrate (notice the tongue stuck out).
Little wrestling match
all fun and games!
Eli's rainbow - my ROYGBIV boy.
Great job on his school bus.
Eli is getting much more interested in sports.
Here, he drew he and Cole playing a football game against Ryan and Ms. Carol.
This afternoon, their friend Owen came over to play.
They spent LOTS of time with this structure.
Climbing and jumping.
Meanwhile, I was inside baking cookies and testing out honey in place of sugar in the recipe.
And then they flipped the structure all over the place
still flipping.
Here I thought they were just being cute and pretending....I was wrong, apparently they were spitting and got in trouble for doing it. Oops!
