Monster Truck Bash

This past weekend, we surprised the boys with a trip to the Dirt Track to see the Back to School Monster Truck Bash. Better yet, we met Grandma and Grandpa C and Uncle Billy there. The boys were sooooo excited on the drive down and were even more excited to see their Grandparents. We stopped at Chick-fil-a for dinner and ice cream and then headed to the show. There were 10 trucks there including some we have at home. The bash started off with a jump competition and it was amazing to watch the trucks jump the big mound. It was definitely exciting! Then it started to rain.....causing them not to do the motorcross stunt show that was planned and to change up the head to head race course. After the races, it was time for freestyle! Avenger was definitely our favorite of the night and put on an incredible show. It was a new experience to see an outdoor show and it was Cole's first Monster Jam. I expect it won't be the last!

Cole eventually did get used to his earmuffs - plus Mommy wasn't going to let him go without them.

The motorcross guys did a little riding but no real stunts, it was too dangerous.

Look at those cute cheeks!!

Cole was waving to the drivers as they did a drive by.
Possibly my favorite picture from the night. Uncle Billy loves his nephews and they love him!
Grandma brought the boys new monster trucks
and they conducted their own Monster Jam, complete with trucks flipping over.
Great shot with Grandma & Grandpa C
