Week Twenty Three: 6/2 - 6/8

We're getting really close to the end of the school year and lots of activities keeping us busy!

Tim and Eli have been part of a Scout Troop since August and Monday night was the final meeting and Bridging Ceremony. We all went to see Eli move up from a Tiger cub to Wolf cub. It has been a lot of fun to watch Eli earn his belt loops, pins and patches. I think Tim has enjoyed it as well and they're looking forward to more fun next year. Cole is looking forward to when he can join Scouts too - just one more year little buddy!
Future Scout
This was the most precious thing. Eli kept calling Cole his "Mini-Me".

Even Daddy got recognized for his volunteer service this year with the troop.
Earned new belt loops.
Crossing the bridge

Daddy presented him with his Wolf neckerchief and slide.
My sweet Wolf cub!!
Trying to keep Cole and Eli busy (ceremony went long), I let them draw in a notebook. Eli drew this sweet picture for me.
Daddy and his boy

Thursday was Cole's 4K graduation. He woke up SOOOO excited. I made sure that he had two of his favorite things for breakfast and a happy note when he woke up. He opted to have the donuts (surprise!!) and saved the bars for snack later. He had a super day and we were excited that Grandma C (and her friend Debbie and daughter Jessie) came up for graduation. I did a separate post for graduation but here are a few more pictures from the day.
Happy Graduation Day Cole!!
Grandma gave Cole a graduation card
complete with some graduation money!!
Woo hoo! Cole only made it two days with money burning a hole in his pocket. He used it to buy a matchbox car set at Target.

Cole has been cracking us up lately by drawing "Battles". I think he and a few boys at school have fun drawing different things. The best part is that Cole makes sound effects while he's drawing. It is the funnest thing to watch. I had to take pictures of some of his battles to share.
Battle 1
Battle 2
Battle 3
Battle 4
Battle 5
Battle 6. And we have about a million more. These were pretty colorful. Most of them are monochromatic. But Cole can tell you exactly what was going on, the type of battle, who the good guys and bad guys are and who wins. I just love his imagination!
Eli made this awesome clay owl in Art class. I love it!!
This weekend, Tim installed a zip line in the backyard. Some friends of ours moved and couldn't take their zip line with them so they generously gave it to us for the backyard.
The boys absolutely love it.
Many rides. We're using a ladder for now but have plans for an awesome platform. Hoping to create an adventurous back yard!!
