This morning we met Aunt Erin and the cousins, Keegan and Kaleb at the Zoo. It was such a fun day. Fun to be with Erin and the K's. Fun to see the animals. Fun to walk around just looking. Fun to watch Eli and Cole with "their" babies. Fun to hear the funny things they had to say. Funny watching a Zebra pee (yep, that happened!). Fun to see the animal babies - the zoo had several. Fun riding the carousel (the only other time Eli rode - before Cole was born, he CRIED like crazy). Fun picnicking with our cousins. Fun running around with them. Such a super fun and exhausting day. Cole fell asleep on the way home and Erin reported that the K's slept the entire way home - perfect day!!
Warning: LOTS of pictures ahead.....
Happy to see our cousins - Cole & Kaleb on the left, Eli & Keegan on the right.
Excited for the Tram ride. We rode over to Africa and walked back to North America.
Aunt Erin and her sweet boys
There was never a truer statement!!
Baby Gorilla - he was pretty funny playing in the hay.
Another baby hitching a ride.
Baby #1 entertaining himself and us. =)
The Chimps didn't want to come play. They looked like they were cold.
I took a picture of the chimp faces in case I ever need to cross reference with my monkeys. =)
This was absolutely hilarious - Eli HAD to photobomb a picture of Erin and the boys.
Non-photo bomb'd version.
Lions - apparently they are quite lazy sleeping 21 hours a day, resting up for their big hunt / kill.
Just chillin' Aunt Evia.
Giraffes are gorgeous to me.
Beautiful creatures!
Ostriches
So this was pretty funny, the zebra came over and struck a pose for us. I got some great pictures but then we realized he was standing that way to pee. The boys thought it was absolutely hilarious. I decided not to embarrass the zebra and post a picture of him peeing.
Elephant!!
Amazing creatures.
Riding the Rhino.
Of course, the baboons are always a hit. The boys love their pink butts.
A new addition! This baboon was carrying about a baby on her chest.
Apparently baby was only 2 weeks old!!
Eli and Cole "helping" Aunt Erin - didn't last too long.
Lemurs! We went earlier and they weren't out - so neat to see. Cole & Eli both want to be lemurs with striped tails.
Let's get this carousel ride started!
Much happier this time.
Cole's legs quit working - as expected!
Grizzly bear. Not too active today.
Cute otter!
Welcome Patches!!
Makes you just want to go snuggle him....better stick to a polar bear stuffed animal.
No idea what was going on but it looked like brotherly love.
Picnic time!!
Eli used his stretchy snake to to keep "his" baby (Keegan) away from the parking lot.
They had so much fun running around together.
Sweet boy!
Kaleb and Cole playing with each other.
This was fun.
Trying to get a picture of them holding their baby....
Eli kept hold of Keegan but Kaleb escaped so Cole tackled him. LOVE IT!
Pooped out Cole-man.
And we picked up Cousin It along the way somewhere.
