Happy Birthday to my All American Boy - Coleman Thomas!! Can not believe you are 3!!
Today we so much fun celebrating Cole's birthday. When he woke up, there were presents, a balloon and a banner to welcome him downstairs. He and Eli both got excited with the presents. His big gift was Little Tikes Tikestix and they had fun building a house, boat and an airplane right away. We started the day intending on doing all of Cole's favorite things. His birthday, his way! Breakfast was cinnamon rolls and then we headed to Umstead for a hike. We had fun in the woods checking out all the trees, rocks and bugs and let me tell you, Eli & Cole are both getting better with their trail feet! I think we have future trail runners on our hands!! We were then going to pick up Chick-fil-a, have a picnic at the airport and then go to the pool later in the afternoon. Well, a big storm changed those plans. We played at home until the storm passed. Tim did takeout for Chick-fil-a and then we enjoyed an ice cream cake. After dinner, since we didn't get to go to the pool, we let the boys run and play in the puddle in front of our house. I think they enjoyed that even more!! All in all, I think Cole had a great day.
