Planted and Blooming

We finally got our garden planted today. We have cucumbers, squash, zucchini, tomatoes, peppers, lettuce, green beans, lima beans and a strawberry plant. The boys loved helping plant our seeds. They really love when it's hot and I spray them with the sprayer while watering the garden!!

 Cole got in on a little digging action. 

 Daddy mulched one of our planted areas in the backyard. It looks really nice. Just a start to figuring out our long term backyard plan.

Surprise visit from Grandma C

Tonight we had a great surprise when Grandma C stopped in to visit us while she was in town for a convention. The boys ran her around outside until everyone was tired out and she had to head home. It was a short visit but such a great surprise!

Gorgeous Day, Must ride bikes!

The weather was so perfect today that we HAD to load the bike gear and head out to Umstead. Eli and Cole both love wearing their bike helmets, going for rides and being outside. One day in the not-too-terribly-distant future, they'll be riding bikes on their own without Tim & I pulling them!

 Not sure what Eli was pointing at but it always cracks me up how comfortable he is on the back of the bike and the things he does. One day, he took his jacket off and hung it on the handlebars. And check out his Camelbak!
