Tonight we went on a leaf walk around our neighborhood. We've been admiring the leaf colors as we drive so we went on a family walk to admire them in our neighborhood. The boys told me what to take pictures of so we could remember the pretty colors. Maybe next year we'll make it to the mountains to look at the leaves up there!

Football and more Football
Just your typical fall Sunday afternoon....watching the Carolina Panthers play football (a win!) and then playing some football of our own in the backyard. I KNEW those Halloween costumes would be used over and over!! These boys......oh my heart.
Mr. Football - black eye patches and all!
My NC State football player
He can stop you with his cuteness.
They crack me up calling plays...
trying to run for touchdowns....
and tackling each other. Actually, I think that's their favorite part!
Cole doesn't give up
This is one BIG Panthers fan! Can't wait to take them to a game one day.

Playing in the way-back with Daddy.
I have absolutely no idea what happened here or what was said but it is one of my favorite pictures of the year. Tim and Cole's face are priceless!
Little Charmer....gotta learn to throw that ball (and wear a helmet properly!)
This football stuff is hard work!
Mommy and Cole
This, That, These, Those
It has started.....planning of Christmas lists. Eli and Cole were studying the sale papers this morning. Funniest of all is that instead of circling what they liked, Eli wrote notes with arrows. I love how his little mind works! It all brings back memories of me as a kid studying the Sears Wish Book. =)
Studying catalogs is serious business
This.....
That.....
Those....
Sweet boys!

1st basketball game and TWO birthday parties!
Oh my goodness, what a busy day!! Basketball and two birthday parties!
First up, Eli's team (The Nuggets) played the Spurs in his 1st basketball game of the season. It was so much fun to watch them. Coolest part of all.....Eli scored the first basket of the season!!! Woo hoo!!!

Pledge of Allegiance
The kids play different positions throughout the game - here Eli was the point guard. He does really well dribbling down the court.
Let's go Defense!
Get 'em Eli!!
My little basketball heart smiles watching them play.
Silly face!

After the basketball game, I took Cole to his friend Sona's 4th birthday party at a farm. I thought it was super cool but Cole wasn't very thrilled when chickens (free roaming) came up to us. When we got there, we were given a bucket of feed and could go see / feed the animals. There were chickens, goats, bunny rabbits, pigs and a llama - pretty cool! The kids all got to see and feed the animals and then we went on a walk through the pasture. Farmer Mary talked to us about the property and animals. Then it was cake and pinata time. Cole wasn't too interested in eating, he much preferred swinging on all the neat swings.
Tire swing with Jack
Hello Mr. Rabbit
Cole was ok with feeding them
He was not too thrilled when the goat came to get it out of his hand. There's Farmer Mary!
Cole and Jack
Cole LOVED the swings. Looks like a perfect thing to get for Grandma's house. =)
This tire horse swing was cool.
Hello Mr. Goat
And Mr. Llama - wonder if he's mad at his mama?
The kids had fun trying to break the pinata. It was a tough one to break open!
Lots of fun candy and Halloween treats inside.
After Sona's party, we all headed to celebrate Evan's 2nd birthday (our sweet little E!). Thankfully we were the first ones to arrive so the boys go to enjoy the huge Monkey bounce house by themselves before the rest of the little people arrived. The party was a super cute safari / animal theme.
BIG Monkey Bounce House
Cole must have gone down the slide 50 times - he partied himself out!
A little brotherly battle in the bounce house
Practicing on Uncle Mike's tractor
Best picture I got with the boys and the birthday girl - Eli looks HUGE!
Best part of any party - cupcakes!

Eli was so sweet and left Evan a message on her driveway.
Happy Birthday Evan!!
