our Fuzzoodle Family

Looks like we added a mystery pet. I'll let you decide who is who (I think it will be pretty obvious!).

Lowe's Grave Digger Monster Truck Build

Today we took the boys to a Lowe's Build and Grow event. This one, build a Grave Digger Monster Truck!! They were very excited to build their own truck. We weren't sure what to expect but it was really fun. Cole and Eli both did great hammering nails in their trucks and putting stickers on to finish it off. Mommy didn't do too well as I had Eli hammer in too many nails and messed up a step. Daddy tried to come to our rescue but in the end, we had to get another truck and start over. Eli was not happy with me but it all turned out ok.

Before the build
Serious business with safety glasses!
Cole-the tool man
He kept wanting to put stickers on the wheels first.
Eli did great with his hammering
I just love the look on Cole's face as he watches Eli.
Notice Tim's puzzled look....um yeah, he was trying to figure out how to correct my mistake.
Happy Little Builder!
2nd attempt - this time without Mommy's mistake
All Done!
Taking them for a test drive.
So awesome! They got builder certificates, a patch and a work apron. Mommy just has to iron on the patches.
Post build picnic - wonder what the guys would say if I did this on the jobsite. =)

Snow delay

The boys were so excited for the snow delay at school today. Not too much snow on the ground but definitely enough to run trucks through it! No Cole in these pictures because he didn't want to be in them today but he had fun running around as well.

Road Trip - a visit to see family

We had a great time visiting family yesterday. We made a quick road trip to the farm to see Uncle Billy & Aunt Niki, Grandma & Grandpa C and Uncle Jeff, Miss Erin and the twins. It was a quick trip but so much fun! The only not-so-fun part was that Cole must have had a tummy bug because he got sick a few times but he was a trooper!

1st road trip with headphones on the dvd players
and oh my goodness, it was so nice and quiet!!
Hit 200k miles on my truck on the drive down - LOVE my truck!
At Uncle Billy & Aunt Niki's house. They loved sliding on the wood floors.
Uncle Tickle Monster!
Too cute.
The boys enjoyed watching Uncle Billy's HUGE tv - notice the massive Buzz Lightyear?!
And this was after he got sick - silly upside down Cole
Family photo - Aunt Nikki, Uncle Billy, Emma and Patch - next one will include a human baby!!
Love this picture.
And this one.
Eli took Uncle Billy's phone and starting playing games.
Goats at Grandma & Grandpa's farm
It was perfect that Eli's homework that week was about farm animals.
We got lots of cool pictures of the animals
and he was able to write about them.
Just fed the chickens.
Petting one that Grandpa caught for him. They can run around fast!
M-O-O-O-O-O-O-O!!!!
Eli was trying to grab the goat by the horns.
The (smart) goat ran away.
Grandpa had to help him. :-)
Playing a game with Grandma.  (Notice this is probably 3pm and Eli is STILL in his pj's!)
Checking out Grandpa's well.
WAY down there. This is set up like my Great-Grandma's well was. I can't wait for the boys to be able to bring up fresh water and drink it. We used to use an old metal ladle - told Dad he needed to get one of those too.
A little gun class with my Dad.
Eli had a blast play fighting with Uncle Jeff. I think Jeff enjoyed it too!
Not sure what they were talking about but Eli was laughing. It makes my heart happy to see my brother as a Dad. I know he's a great one.
Miss Erin and Kaleb (I think!). She's such a great Mom. And great for my brother. So glad she's part of our family!
Cole-man. Not feeling too great.

the PERFECT Valentine's gift

Eli and Cole have spent so much time studying the LegoLand map that Grandma & Grandpa N sent them in their Valentine's Day cards. They're so excited to go in April!

Of course, the boys woke up to goodie bags full of fun stuff for Valentine's Day. They were excited to discover what was in them. We had to have heart pancakes for breakfast and then it was off to school. The boys had card swap at school and Cole had his class Valentine's party. So much fun stuff!!
Lots of goodies to wake up to!
