Party at Marbles

Today one of Eli's buddies at school has his 5th birthday party at Marbles. It is always a fun and CRAZY time there. Eli loved running around and playing with his friends.
 The Eli $100 bill
Eli and Priyanki, isn't she adorable?!
Pretending to be a fire fighter
Quickly moving to the ambulance to help a patient
 Camping fun
Eli & his buddy Will joined a play presentation. They sang songs and Eli was a turtle.

 My little deep sea diver
Eli & Will - cracking me up with their deep sea masks and fins.

Crazy boys

The boys created a crazy game in the garage this morning. It involved bike helmets, sunglasses, gloves and a soccer ball. Love their imaginations!

the Rest of Father's Day

After lunch, Tim & Cole ran to look at a pop up camper (no go unfortunately) and I took Eli to Pump It Up to celebrate Colin & Andrew's 5th birthday. Pump It Up is great because the boys can run around crazy, wear themselves out while the parents get to hang out and talk. Occasionally Mommy is needed when there's a head bump or something but overall, we just get to watch. After a LOT of play time, they had snacks and cake and Eli took advantage of the party to have two CapriSuns!

We made a quick run by BJ's for baking supplies (I have a lot of baking in progress - party season!) and then we came home to gather our stuff and Cole to go to the pool. While we spent some time at the pool, Tim worked in the yard - mowing the grass and weed eating / edging. As I mentioned in my other post, nice steak dinner ended what I think was a good Father's Day.

Some of the rowdy boys watching the safety video.
That form looks like a lefty! But he's not.
Eli created a new game where he threw the balls OUT of the enclosure and everyone else had to get them back in. He snuck out to grab a ball and was nabbed by Colin's mom.
 Air hockey is serious business
 Just look at that intensity
Trying to climb the mountain and grab the flags
 This face cracked me up.
The boys had fun trying to climb to the staff guy and grab his hand.
Eli made it and got a fun ride before being let go to slide back down.
 The cyclone machine
The kids loved climbing in there and experiencing almost 80mph wind.
 Party gang
 Cake, singing, candles, happy
Andrew, Eli, Colin - these three have been together since they were just a few months old!
 Snack time at the pool
Fun at the pool with Mommy - it's a lot of work to take two by yourself!!
Kicking and splashing during break time
Toweled up and ready (or not so) to go home. My cuties!!

Happy Father's Day!!

Or should I say weekend?! Our Father's Day celebration started on Friday when the boys were beyond excited to give Tim the gifts they made him. Eli made a hat with his handprints on it and Cole made a picture frame and card.

 Presents for Daddy
 Daddy and the Cole-man
Daddy and his boys (I love this picture!)

Saturday's celebration included Tim going to Sears to pick up his new pressure washer. Oh the manly fun of a new power tool / piece of equipment.
 All put together
Why aren't you moving yet?! Get busy!

Sunday morning we let Tim sleep in a bit, made apple cinnamon pancakes for breakfast and went to church. After lunch, Eli had a birthday party, Cole & Tim went to look at a pop up camper and then I took the boys to the pool to give Tim some "quiet" time - he actually worked in the yard with his new / replacement string trimmer. We had a nice steak dinner. I think Tim had a good day - I sure hope so!
 Silly Cole
Daddy and his boys after church - we are SO thankful for our wonderful Daddy - XOXOXO
Cole finally ate a donut hole at church and LOVED it. It was apparently finger licking good!
And Eli decided to give Cole a little color in his hair - nice black magic marker.

Celebrating Nicholas' 5th birthday

We are in the midst of birthday season and the fun just keeps coming! Today Eli & I went to Frankie's Fun Park to celebrate his buddy Nicholas' 5th birthday. And boy did we have fun!! The party was at 11am and we got there a few minutes before and Eli & Nicholas enjoyed checking out the games prior to getting actually started. We have never been to Frankie's but oh my, so much fun to be had! We played games, checked everything out and played in the fun house prior to pizza and cupcakes at noon. Then we played more games and even rode go karts! I drove and Eli rode but had his own little steering wheel. I took a ton of pictures (as always!) and it was hard to narrow down. They tell the story best!

And, just so you know, Cole had a GREAT time with Daddy while we were at the party. They went to Lowe's and then Chick-Fil-a and the airport. Cole's favorite things to do!

Eli & Nicholas testing out the motorcycles
Playing a tank game - check out the tongue, super concentration!
It was funny that the entire seat shook when the tank moved and / or got hit by missiles
Getting the hang of skee ball
Eli & Evan on their Harley's.
Not one of my best pictures but this cracks me up. The boys weren't even really playing the game, just pretending but they were having so much fun.
 Whack-a-shark
The Fun House - this thing was awesome! Multi-level, multi-story and only one way in / out. I would absolutely LOVE to build this in our backyard!
Concentration on Evan's face as he tries to win something. The boys were ALL about winning toys out of the machines.
 Pizza time!
And yummy chocolate cupcakes with blue icing.
Nicholas' little sister - isn't she a doll?!
Eli & Birthday Boy Nicholas - in their Batman masks. Eli wore his almost ALL day.
Ready to go in the go-karts.
Mommy & Eli - ready to go fast!
Eli was over-the-moon happy when I won him an Angry Bird pig in the machine.
Watching tv after we got home. He seriously did not take the mask off! It was kinda spooky to see only his eyes.
